Is placing an implant painful?
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. Some discomfort afterwards is normal and is usually controlled with the medication we prescribe.
How long does a dental implant last?
That depends on gum health, daily oral hygiene, habits such as smoking, and keeping up with maintenance appointments. With regular follow-up, implants can stay functional for many years.
Am I a candidate for implants?
It depends on bone volume, general health and the health of your gums. We can only answer after a clinical assessment.
